Healthcare Facility Expansion and Upgrades

ARHF played a pivotal role in the redevelopment of The Grove Long-Term Care Home, increasing its capacity from 60 to 96 beds. The foundation partially funded this $24 million project by raising $4 million from community supporters. The foundation has also supported renovations to critical areas such as the Arnprior Regional Hospital Emergency Department triage area, improving patient care and staff safety.

Acquiring Advanced Medical Equipment for the Arnprior Area

Government funding does not support buying medical equipment, so ARHF has inspired donors to fund the acquisition of cutting-edge technologies and life-saving medical equipment through focused campaigns and outreach. Examples include:

• A new CT scanner that enhances diagnostic imaging capabilities locally. The foundation successfully raised $2.2 million for this initiative, marking a significant milestone in patient-centered care.
• ARHF has helped acquire care-enhancing equipment like digital mammogram machines, portable electrocardiogram devices, and defibrillators to deliver timely and effective care at Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital.
