At Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, we are committed to ensuring our community has access to the very best healthcare, close to home. That’s why we launched the Scope for Hope Campaign – to raise the funds needed to replace aging endoscopy equipment that the Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) Endoscopy Team relies on.
The need is clear. Our current scopes, towers, and software systems have served the community for many years, but they are no longer keeping pace with the level of care our patients deserve. The technology is outdated, the images are not as sharp, procedures can take longer, and the risk of breakdowns is increasing.
Hayley Sevigny, Manager of the Surgical Program and a former Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, shared her perspective during a recent event:
“The reality is that the equipment we’ve relied on for years is aging. Images aren’t as sharp as they should be, procedures can take longer, and the risk of breakdowns is higher. And in a field where precision and timing matter so much, those limitations directly affect the quality of care we provide.”
Why the Upgrade Matters
With your support, the Scope for Hope Campaign will allow ARH to purchase new endoscopy towers, high-definition scopes, and updated software. This investment will bring enormous benefits for patients:

Sevigny explained:

Perhaps most importantly, this campaign ensures that patients in Arnprior and the surrounding communities won’t have to travel to larger centers for endoscopy services.
“Your parents, your neighbours, your friends – they won’t need to travel to larger centers for care. They’ll be able to get what they need here, surrounded by familiar faces and supported by their community.”
