Arnprior Regional Health Foundation’s Scope for Hope Campaign Reaches 95% of $800,000 Goal
Community invited to help raise the final $40,000 and complete the campaign
Arnprior, ON – The Arnprior Regional Health Foundation is proud to announce that the Scope for Hope Endoscopy Campaign has reached 95% of its $800,000 fundraising goal.
For many patients, an endoscopy appointment begins with uncertainty, a quiet waiting room, a knot of worry, and unanswered questions about their health. But within minutes, that uncertainty can turn into clarity. A diagnosis. A plan. In some cases, a life saved.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, businesses, community groups, and healthcare supporters across the region, more than $760,000 has been raised to support the purchase of essential endoscopy equipment at Arnprior Regional Health, equipment that is already helping patients receive timely answers and critical care close to home.
With only $40,000 remaining, the Foundation is calling on the community to help push the campaign across the finish line.
“This is an incredibly meaningful moment for our community,” said Ben Gardiner, Executive Director of the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation. “For patients, having access to endoscopy services locally means less waiting, less travel, and faster answers during what can be a very stressful time. It means catching something early, when it can still be treated. It means peace of mind or in some cases, a second chance. Reaching 95% of our goal shows what is possible when a community comes together. Now we are asking everyone to help us complete the final stretch.”
The Foundation is also recognizing the support of C.A. Young Financial Inc. and Connie Young, whose commitment to local healthcare has helped move the campaign closer to completion.
For Connie Young and the team at C.A. Young Financial Inc., supporting the Scope for Hope Campaign reflects a shared commitment to ensuring local families have access to quality healthcare close to home, especially when timely diagnosis can make all the difference.
The Scope for Hope Campaign supports the purchase of modern endoscopy equipment used to diagnose and monitor a variety of digestive health conditions. These procedures can detect issues early, often before symptoms become severe, giving patients the best possible chance at effective treatment and recovery. Having this technology available at Arnprior Regional Health means patients can receive answers sooner, begin treatment earlier, and avoid the added stress of travelling far from home during an already difficult time.
While the equipment is already in place and serving patients, the Foundation continues to raise the funds needed to fully cover the cost of this important investment.
The Foundation is encouraging community members who have not yet participated in the campaign to consider making a gift and helping bring the fundraising effort to a successful close.
“We are so close,” added Gardiner. “Every donation, regardless of size, helps ensure that when someone in our community walks into that procedure room feeling uncertain, they can walk out with answers and hope. Together, we can finish what we started.”
